After applying this patch (and patch 697 which does not affect
edit.c), I get the following warning in Huge, Big and Normal but not
in Small and Tiny:

gcc -c -I. -Iproto -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DFEAT_GUI_GTK  -pthread
-I/usr/include/gtk-2.0 -I/usr/lib64/gtk-2.0/include
-I/usr/include/pango-1.0 -I/usr/include/atk-1.0 -I/usr/include/cairo
-I/usr/include/pixman-1 -I/usr/include/libdrm -I/usr/include/libpng16
-I/usr/include/gdk-pixbuf-2.0 -I/usr/include/pango-1.0
-I/usr/include/harfbuzz -I/usr/include/pango-1.0
-I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib64/glib-2.0/include
-I/usr/include/freetype2   -O2 -fno-strength-reduce -Wall
-U_FORTIFY_SOURCE -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=1        -o objects/edit.o edit.c
edit.c: In function ‘replace_do_bs’:
edit.c:8043:23: warning: ‘len_before’ may be used uninitialized in
this function [-Wmaybe-uninitialized]
         (int)(len_now - len_before));
              ~~~~~~~~~^~~~~~~~~~~~~
Best regards,
Tony.
