I never met Sven. But when I was learning Vim or other tools like Mutt (in 2000 or earlier?), I recall often stumbling on his name. Sven seemed obsessed (I say that in a good way!) with anything that had to do with the terminal or text. I also remember him for maintaining the early Vim website.
