I'm OK with expressing support for the Ukraine, but this is over the
top.  Not sure where else to put it.  On Vim.org I just added the flag
colors.  It's still a bit too much too, I'll see if I can change that.

A link to a payment site suggests that we think it is OK, but I have no
idea where the money goes, thus we should not do that.  Someone who
wants to donate can find places for that easily.

I don't think we have had a problem with this until now.  Did you have
to remove something before?
