I'd like to request adding a syntax file for Algol 68. I've read that it's possible to contribute it informally through the mailing list.
Based on an initial file from NevilleD (versions 0.1/0.2) from the Net I've fixed and thoroughly extended that file during the past months and created a release version 0.4 that had been tested and is ready for use. I deposited it here: http://algol68.gridbug.de/algol68.vim I propose to add that file to the Vim directory-tree ~/syntax and extend the existing filetype.vim file by this entry: " Algol 68 au BufNewFile,BufRead *.a68 setf algol68 Please let me know if you could make that possible.
