I've modified the test file as outlined in my previous mail. It's available
here:

http://algol68.gridbug.de/all_preludes_w_sp_X.txt

Syntax for the simple case is:
<blank> X <blank> <identifier-with-spaces> <tab> X <blank>
<identifier-without-spaces>

For lines that include abbreviated variants there's two additional "X
<identifier>" parts present.

For example:
 X cos pi       X cospi
 X arc cos dg X acosdg X arccosdg X acosdg

Hope that fits. - If you need something different for the tests please let me
know.

Thanks.

Regards,
Janis

You are right. And if your patch addresses that, even better. - Given
your previous comment I also see why the simple test data file wouldn't
work. (I suppose the test file could be syntactically changed to fit,
perhaps by interspersing spurious "X" characters?)
