It's quite likely you did what I did, Björn, and didn't start a process using the New Window command. Only if login shell is turned on and you use the New Window command does it show up. I first tried in a process launched by mvim, which of course doesn't suffer the problem, as it isn't spawned from MacVim with SIGCHLD ignored.
