I think that this problem has something to do with the "Command terminated" problems mentioned elsewhere.
In particular, when I tried the snapshot initially, I would get a "Hit enter" whenenver I hit F1. When I *typed* ":help" instead, I would get "Command terminated" and THEN the "Hit enter..." It turns out that my particular problem was caused by a plugin, but the problem didn't exist in snapshot 36, and so I'm guessing it's related. --Ted > I get the 'Hit enter...' message on every external command run by the > plugins I have, like DBExt or vim-git. I did read :h hit-enter, but > cannot have the old behaviour back. Looked at cmdheight and shortmess, > everything seems to be the same in snapshot 36 (which behaves) and 37 > (which doesn't).
