Ah, bummer, I was hoping it was just a non-obvious option. Any technical reason you don't think it will be added, or is it just a design philosophy question? If there's no technical hurdle to it I might be tempted to try adding it to my pile of programming side projects to see if I can patch MacVim for it. > This sounds like a surprising suggestion to me :-P I don't know any > other programs that do this. Out of curiosity, can you give a few > examples of programs that do this? Well, I currently use iTerm with the tabs on the bottom, so that's my main app used that way. Firefox can also have the tab bar at the bottom. Most terminal emulators I've used on Windows Linux and OS X allow this, including TCI, Konsole, Gnome-terminal, etc. I just find it more natural to do "context switches" between sessions at the bottom when I'm working in a terminal. Vim for obvious reasons is a big part of my cmd prompt usage, so it feels natural to have vim's tabs be at the bottom too. Just a personal preference I suppose. -Jay --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message from the "vim_mac" maillist.
