All of you who ran into problems with no windows appearing could you
please open up Console.app and look for warnings similar to this:

WARNING: No Vim controller for identifier=X

You may have to scroll through a lot of logs in order to get to the
time where the window failed to open (it helps if you can remember the
approximate time when it did).  Can you see any such warnings around
the time you experienced this bug?

I assume you were all using Snapshot 45?
