Hi David, This behavior with Spaces annoys the living cr#p out of me too (with MacVim and other apps). I try to fix these things as I notice them but I guess I don't use the Finder to open files often enough so I hadn't noticed the problem you just described. Hmmm...I just tried to reproduce the bug but I can't seem to do so over here (double click in Finder always lead to a new window opening in the same Space as the Finder window I double clicked in) . Must be a timing related problem so it can be a bit tricky. Still, I'll try to figure out why this happens and see if I can fix it (but since I can't repro it is tremendously helpful if you can try to debug the problem yourself and let me know what's going on). Does this happen with all files? E.g. if you open a really tiny text file does it still happen (i.e. a file that should open quickly). Does the Quickstart option make any difference if toggled on/off? Björn --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message from the "vim_mac" maillist.
