A follow up to a previous post from last year. I installed snapshot 52 and have had ~some~ luck getting the numeric keypad to behave like the Up/Down/Home/PageDown/etc. keys. However, because of the number of keys to map (eight), the different types of mappings (map, map!, vmap, possibly more?), and the modifier keys (shift, control, shift +control), it all feels clumsy and quirky. Perhaps someone has a simpler way of making, say, the 8 key on my keypad act like an exact duplicate of the Up-arrow key?
One specific "quirk", to illustrate: when I'm in select mode and I press the Up key I exit select mode, as expected. However after doing all my mappings of <k8> to <Up>, pressing the keypad 8 key will not exit select mode the same way (or, at all, actually). -- You received this message from the "vim_mac" maillist.
