The transparency feature was broken in the default renderer due to some internal changes to the Mac OS X 10.6 SDK. The transparency feature was something of a hack to begin with (it uses private APIs). Please enable the "Experimental renderer" in the advanced preferences -- it supports transparency without any kinds of hacks. Furthermore, it is much faster than the default renderer and supports other features the default renderer does not. Despite the name "experimental" I strongly suggest that everybody enable this renderer unless they have a very good reason not to (and if so tell me about it so that I can fix it). The "default" renderer is slowly being phased out (but it won't ever be completely disabled). Björn -- You received this message from the "vim_mac" maillist. Do not top-post!
