Hmm, I don't have a good reason as to why. I think filing a Github issue is probably a good idea to consolidate discussions. You could probably want to get the crash logs as well ( https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/26480/where-can-i-find-my-crash-logs) to help diagnose the issue.
