I tested again on a real winxp (actually under virtualbox) that the
following apps use shift-del as cut (delete into clipboard)
notepad, excel 2003, word 2003

and the wiki also says cut is shift-del in cua

m$ file explorer use shift-del as delete forever but del alone instead of
ctrl-del will delete into recycle bin.

Can anyone confirm whether shift-del or ctrl-del is used as cut in
other linux or windows applications such as kwrite, notepad+ etc?
