Hi, I came across the following on this list:
"You might also want to consider using Cygwin + Xterm instead of putty. xterm has better terminal emulation than PuTTY." Could you please tell us how to use Vim here: For instance there is a Windows cygwin connecting to a linux server. 1) What do we start at Cygwin's end? Probably an xterm? How? 2) What do we start at the server's end? 3) Can we use gvim also, or will we have to use the vim bundled with cygwin? I personally find that to be unfriendly.
