Just installed Ubuntu 8.04 on a new system. I copied my .vim/.vimrc over to my new home-dir, and observed some different behaviour as far as "set title" and "set icon" go.
Thing is, on Ubuntu 7.10 I didn't have to "set icon/title" to have those features enabled. Only after some research did I find out about these options, put them in my .vimrc and got the same vim-experience I had before. But why is this? Are there any other features that I have to re-enable manually that worked out of the box before? (I now this is more leaning towards Ubuntu than Vim, but you guess care more about/know more about vim than the Ubuntu-Forum.) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message from the "vim_use" maillist.
