Unfortunately, I recall something similar with our CSV tip. It seems
that wikia's search (and mediawiki's search in general?) ignores words
of fewer than 4 characters--which means useful things such as CSV or
PDF are unsearchable.
Our workaround for the CSV tip was to create a redirect page entitled
CSV, because the "go" action DOES work for fewer than 4 characters. I
have done this also for PDF, so your search should work now.
In the future, if there are 3-letter search terms that we need, let us
know or create a redirect page yourself. You can see a redirect page
without following the redirect by appending "?redirect=no" to the URL,
like this:
http://vim.wikia.com/wiki/PDF?redirect=no
This can be helpful if you don't know how to create a redirect page :-)
