If you don't trust the author, you had better ":view" the file first, to
check that it's innocuous.
I'm not sure whether or not colorschemes are executed in the |sandbox|.
If you want to write your own colorscheme(s), have a look at the
colorschemes distributed with Vim. I'm adding one that I wrote myself
for my own purposes, it might not be what you need, but it is slightly
more complex than the "default" colorscheme and somewhat simpler than
the other colorschemes distributed with Vim. It might spur your
inspiration if you want to write your own.
