It is? As long as it's findable with a regex (which it is), it's only
a question of ability of vim or best practice (both answers would have
been fine for me). But to answer, the language is "Progress"
(4GL/ABL).

Yes, I took a look, that's why I wrote "having to code in a language
that ctags is not supporting". Progress' market share is as small as
it gets (the recent poll is about 0.114% of all applications, although
those numbers are doubtful at best) and no tool ever supports it. I am
very happy that vim supports it, otherwise I would have never started
to use this fantastic program.
