There are two plugins (that I know of) that provide an interface to info 
via vim:

http://vim.sourceforge.net/scripts/script.php?script_id=489  (manpageview)
http://vim.sourceforge.net/scripts/script.php?script_id=21    (info)

Perhaps you could try one of these; if you want info to invoke them, you 
can set up an alias.
