Embedded languages in Vimscript highlighted as error? - 3 new

The console version was supplied as GVim on Windows does not let me copy the
results of the command, and I did not want to post a screenshot. The
compilation options are the same in my console and GUI versions. :echo has(
'python') does return 1, Python 2.6 is the only version installed, and it is
in the path. - Mon, Dec 8 2008 10:14 am

Including a Mercurial (ini file) syntax with Vim - 4 new
--------------------------------------------------------
Vim presently comes packaged with a "gitconfig" filetype. However, it doesn't
have any support for Mercurial hgrc files. Interestingly, both git and
Mercurial simply use INI files. That is, it seems wrong to have a special
gitconfig filetype (and a special hgrc/etc.). They should all just be ini
files. - Mon, Dec 8 2008 11:25 am

Arrow keys in edit mode - 4 new
-------------------------------
Is there a way to make the arrow keys in vim/gvim act exactly like gedit or
other typical windows editors? What I want are: 1. When I press the left key,
the cursor will of course move left; but when it reach the beginning of a line,
it stops, and it won't move to the above line. Sometimes this can be quite
inconvenient. However, - Mon, Dec 8 2008 8:17 pm

define a KeyMap which combines two command - 4 new
--------------------------------------------------
Hi, I know use '|' and combine two command, but I don't know how to do the
combination when the first command is a external shell command (prefixed by a
'!'). For example, I want to define <F5> to run a shell command which updates
my cscope database and then run ':cs reset', I tried nmap <F5> :!./recs-sh | :
cs reset<CR> - Mon, Dec 8 2008 9:22 pm

I can't "remap" <Shift-F4> key - 5 new
--------------------------------------
Hi, I'd like to map ":cprev" to <Shift-F4> I use (in normal mode) :map <S-F4> :
cprev <CR> But when I press the <Shift-F4> key, Vim displays the message
'Already an oldest change' Maybe, <Shift-F4> is a "reserved" combinaison key
for Vim ? if I try :map <F4> :cprev <CR> that works what is wrong ? - Mon, Dec
