It is probably buried in the reference documents somewhere. But I have a
question regarding using the vim scripts. Not found it in the user
manual, yet. I'm no good at using search engines. Though, I will do the
Google thing as par for the course.
How do you actually use the scripts? Is it dependent upon each script?
Is there a simple generic process for using them in Windows Vista, Linux?
I use both operating systems and possibly may use Windows 98 a bit later
on. Prefer the *nix box personally, yet have to help and work on all
three platforms.
I read about folks using these scripts, having headaches and such. It
makes a person say, "hey I want some headaches, too." :) Used to using
another editor that shall remain gnu nameless, the docs in it are a bit
more up front, at least imho.
So how can I get to hacking in Vim?
