Hi, sometimes I edit files on a server using Vim with netrw. This works fine, but at some point I find myself editing a temp file in a local /tmp directory instead of the same file on the server. This happens often when I use the ftp protocol. Usin ssh, via scp:// things go better.
But sometimes I work with a friend. This is not the best thing to do, but we work this way. We tell each other which file we are using and work on another one. That works. But sometimes, if I have a previously edited file open and then he opens it too, I cannot edit it anymore. It automatically switch to the temp file. I'm sure there are a lot of good reasons for this, but is there a way to change this behaviour? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message from the "vim_use" maillist.
