yeah, I noticed that idutils didn't do quite as much as opengrok after I posted. The great thing - if you made an omnicompletion framework with opengrok is that AFAICT it would be completely open-ended - ie: you could expand it to java, perl, python, c++, etc. etc. etc. Anyways, I'm still working on getting it integrated into my own environment here, so I'll let people know how it works out.
