Just do ":help" and page down a little. You should see a section with
|quickref| and |tutor| links. Put the cursor on |quickref| and press
Ctrl-]. (You could also start with ":help quickref".) This will take
you to a section with links to specific bits about many commonly used
aspects of Vim. You can just page down from here if you want to read
serially through the sections. What's in here will get you through
probably 90% of what you'll use Vim for.

If you haven't gone through the "tutor" sections, you should. It's
well worth the time.
