Hi,
I often use this sequence to swap to words: (goto first word) vey (goto second word) vep (go back to first word) vep works like a charm (its vim ;) but sometimes I want to copy one word over a couple of other words. According to the above "algorithm" I now have to do this: (goto first word) vey (goto second word) vep (go back to first word) vey (goto third word) vep (go back to first word) vey (goto the forth word) vep ....and so on... this is due to the fact that the first vepping will swap the veyed word with the vepped while vepping... It would be more simple to vey the first word and then only to vep over all following words. Since I also use the vey/vep/vep sequence from the beginning often I dont want to overwrite vep/vey with scripts. I dont know the name for what I am searching and helpgrep doesnt understand "problem" descriptions... Is there something simple and elegant solution for this beside writiing a vim script? Have a good and vimmed weekend! mcc -- Please don't send me any Word- or Powerpoint-Attachments unless it's absolutely neccessary. - Send simply Text.
