I agree with Charlie and Raúl. HTML is plain text also but with a lot of markup (meta-info) between the (real) info. As noted on this list before: some blind computer users prefer plain text because some text to speech programs mangle HTML input. Dear Linda, isn't it a little rude to banish them to "the internet 3rd world"?
