As I recall, once upon a time, gVim showed the filetypes on the syntax menu by default. Now (gVim 7.x), the filetypes are not shown when gVim starts up, and you have to choose "Show filetypes in menu" from the Syntax menu to get them to show.
My question is, can I alter _vimrc (on MSWindows) to execute Syntax->Show filetypes in menu on startup? If so, how?
