Hi there, When I use 'Q' to record a certain editing pattern, I often use f and F to move backwards or forwards to a character on a line. This is very powerful as you can edit long text without writing a script for it.
Often though, for more generalized editing patterns, it would be beneficial to match a pattern rather than move over to a single character. Is this possible? All I am trying to say is, instead of moving by fx where x is a character, it would be like f<some match pattern> Thanks, Bahadir --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message from the "vim_use" maillist.
