I noticed it, maybe later than you did because I'm badly behind in 
answering list mail. I'm still active under (a diminutive of) the name 
my parents chose for me 55 years and some months ago. All my posts to 
vim_use are still through the skynet.be SMTP server because my ISP bars 
me from any SMTP server other than its own (OTOH, I suspect that in 
order to connect to the same SMTP server as I do, you would have to 
either be in Belgium or be subscribed to a Belgian "roaming" ADSL 
account). And finally, as I thought was well known, anyone can send mail 
to anyone else with any email address on the From-line. The list 
moderators may have found a possible way to fight this new kind of spam; 
further than that, I'm not telling.

I find it ironic that this new spam pretends to be about "antivirus" 
software.
