...which, BTW, is included in current Vim 7.2 distributions as:
- $VIMRUNTIME/plugin/getscriptPlugin.vim
- $VIMRUNTIME/autololad/getscript.vim
- $VIMRUNTIME/doc/pi_getscript.txt
(as you, Dr. Chip, probably know ;-) but I guess Peter doesn't), so 
there's no need to download it from sourceforge anymore -- it's more 
rewarding to get the latest Vim 7.2 which comes bundled with, among 
others, a reasonably recent version of GetLatestVimScripts. Of course, 
Peter, you should also update your runtime files "reasonably" regularly, 
but in this case even this seems irrelevant since that plugin hasn't 
changed since July 2008; however I also notice that the version included 
in Vim's latest "official" runtime files is now 31 (dated 2008-07-10), 
while the latest version at Sourceforge is version 29 (2008-01-08), so 
you _really_ shouldn't use the latter unless there's no way you can 
install an up-to-date Vim executable.
