Hi, I'm having a few problems with this plugin and I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction. I've installed the plugin following the instructions for MSWIN and when running GVIM the plugin loads and the menu items are available. However I've noticed a couple of things that don't seem to work. I've looked at the troubleshooting help and everything seems to installed correctly and plugins are enabled. :scriptnames shows that (at least) the following plugins are running:
C:\Program Files\Vim\vimfiles\plugin\perl-support.vim C:\Program Files\Vim\vimfiles\autoload\perlsupportgui.vim C:\Program Files\Vim\vimfiles\ftplugin\perl (I've omitted the ones that don't load from vimfiles) and :filetype reports filetype detection:ON plugin:ON indent:OFF First problem - I can't see any other profilers even though they are installed - here's an excerpt from the output produced by \ri showing NYTProf is installed Devel::DProf (20080331.00) a Perl code profiler Devel::InnerPackage (0.3) find all the inner packages of a package Devel::NYTProf (2.10) Powerful feature-rich perl source code profiler Devel::NYTProf::Apache (0.02) Profile mod_perl applications with Devel::NYTProf Devel::NYTProf::Constants (n/a) <description not available> Devel::NYTProf::Core (2.10) load internals of Devel::NYTProf Devel::NYTProf::Data (2.10) Devel::NYTProf data loading and manipulation Devel::NYTProf::FileInfo (n/a) <description not available> Devel::NYTProf::Reader (2.10) Tranforms Devel::NYTProf output into comprehensive, easy to read reports in (nearly) arbitrary format. Devel::NYTProf::ReadStream (2.10) Read Devel::NYTProf data file as a stream Devel::NYTProf::SubInfo (n/a) <description not available> Devel::NYTProf::Test (n/a) <description not available> Devel::NYTProf::Util (2.10) general utility functions for Devel::NYTProf Devel::Peek (1.04) A data debugging tool for the XS programmer Devel::PPPort (3.19) Perl/Pollution/Portability Devel::Profile (1.05) tell me why my perl program runs so slowly Devel::SelfStubber (1.03) generate stubs for a SelfLoading module Devel::SmallProf (2.02) per-line Perl profiler Devel::StackTrace (1.22) Stack trace and stack trace frame objects But it doesn't show up in the menu which has run SmallProf \rps only Second problem - Perl Critic always reports success (even when set to Brutal) G:\Documents\Perl\TV Guide\preprocess.pl : NO CRITIQUE (severity 1 [brutal], verbosity 5) I know Perl Critic is working as I can call it successfully from the command line. I don't know what other information may be of help, hopefully I've provided enough to get started...
