I'd like to list in the statusline the current buffer number and the total number of open buffers. For example, if there are nine buffers open and I'm viewing buffer number two, I'd like to see:
~/somefilename.txt [2/9] I see that %n will place the current buffer number, but there doesn't seem to be a corresponding statusline item for the total number of buffers. How would I go about placing this value in the statusline? TIA for any help, John -- John Magolske http://B79.net/contact
