Perl indenting works without 'ai' set. Maybe 'indentkeys' is
at fault. --Antony

Crud! Just as I thought I had it solved, you go and through
a mystery into the works. Now I don't know why it wasn't working
in that file. Works correctly in other files without 'ai' (and AFAIK,
indentkeys hasn't changed between either situtations).
Will have to think about what else might have been at cause.
I am running on "Win 7", so it would just be a case of induced randomness
via contamination...or some such pseudo-logical reason. Maybe it
will crop up again -- was a 1st though in years of vim use, so not sure
what caused it then -- thought (mistakenly) it might have been an update
as i'd not seen it before. Now I'm more curious about how it happened.

p.s. it's the vimgroup mailing list blog with real people trying for
occasional rare, demented attempts at humor? Certainly not my personal
blog -- it would at least allow HTML and proportional fonts. :-)
