(Apologies for the first one - hit send too quickly :)) Couple of plugins that might do what you want: Mkcolorscheme.vim (writes out the current color scheme) hicolors.vim (Dr Chip's highlight modifier - I'm pretty sure this lets you save the file out) Have a look at those and see if they do what you want.
