Hello, Please do the following: gvim file1 i (to activate insert mode) Double-click a word Click somewhere in file1 to position the cursor Middle-mouse click (to paste)
Result: the word is pasted at the cursor position for any position of the mouse (OK) Esc to return in command mode Double-click a word Click somewhere in file1 to position the cursor Middle-mouse click (to paste) Result: the word is not pasted at the position of the cursor but at the position of the mouse.
