Hi!
Is there a way one can get visual selection width without corrupting
registers?
Say I have 'dummy text' visually selected.
Using registers I can find the length by using:
y
echo len(getreg('"'))
I thought strpart with col('`<') and col('`>') would work but it
doesn't as col('`<') returns 0.
