This is an incredibly obnoxious error message that manifests itself
- to the best of my understanding when I load a new file after loading
a session. I've googled this problem, but what I have found seems
to come from plugins for perl. In my case I am editing python and
  javascript files.
This error number is expressed in several different ways.
1)I open a second instance of file from SelectBuf. In this case
I see, in addition to the reference to E792, a message saying that
a window cannot be open, so a new window is opened.
2)I open a new file and see an enormous string of redundant messages
as follows: "E792: Empty menu name"
3)I open from SelectBuf and see something like this:
"""
E792: Empty menu name
Error detected while processing function
<SNR>37_Tlist_Refresh..<SNR>37_Tlist_Menu_Update_File..<SNR>37_Tlist_Menu_File_Refresh:
"""
which is coming from the taglist plugin, I believe.
Generally, the problem goes away after some tweaking and walking
around in circles swearing to myself, however, I would like a
solution that I can refer to if this starts again in the future.

TIA
