it took more than 20 seconds to startup your cygwin ? well ,maybe your current cygwin is just looks like a cygwin only , in fact ,it's an eclipse !
there must be something happened when starting the cygwin , why not directly start the bash, I mean dont use the cygwin.bat , just .....dbclick the bash.exe .
