You can map the keys you like in command mode (I use the same keys as you): cnoremap <C-A> <Home> cnoremap <C-E> <End> For more robust editing of the command-line you can use the command-line window and have the full power of vim editing: :h c_CTRL-f HTH, -- JR -- You received this message from the "vim_use" maillist.
