Robert, the red is challenging. I am open to tweaking it, but I've gone through a lot of options and keep coming back to this value. The bleed over into the base03 dark tone can be reduced in some cases, but it decreases readability on the light background. I have two variations on the red that are up my sleeve, will test them and see if I can live with them.
