Today plugin authors have to duplicate installation instructions and plugin documentation up to 3 times:
1) doc/plugin.txt (vim documentation) 2) the install section on vim.sf.net 3) eg github README What about making vim.sf.net either show the doc/plugin.txt documentation file instead - or take a special file from the archive such as: doc/vim-sf-net-plugin-info.txt Then authors can keep the script and its documentation in sync easily.
