environment: windows xp home sp3 gvim 7.2
hello, i've accidentally gotten vim into a state from which i don't know how to exit. one hallmark of the state in which vim is in is that the text insertion point can be positioned beyond the eol character. normally when i left-mouse-click beyond an eol character the insertion point will automatically be positioned just before the eol character. i've checked many vim docs and am stuck. what is that name of the state that vim is in and how do i reset vim to behave in the previous manner? thanks, david -- You received this message from the "vim_use" maillist.
