i'm new to using this option and find it very useful. the compiler and link tools we use at work produce info, warning and error messages. i'm trying to play with errorformat to distinguish between the messages but so far unsuccessful. for some reason it traps info and warning messages together. for now i want it parsing warnings only. here is what i have
set errorformat=%W\"%f\"\\,%l%m,%C\ \ \ \ Warning\ %n:\ %m\,%C%m\,%Z the format for info message is very similar, the only difference is that instead of word Warning there is Info. can someone explain me why my pattern also processes Info messages? any help is appreciated. -- You received this message from the "vim_use" maillist.
