clear, you are right, but what I tried was ":help call" and I got a
little bit puzzled. My fault.

I don't know what you get for ":help call" without the colon, but when I
do it, I get the exact same help paragraph as with the colon (:help
tries to find the best match, and since apparently I have no *call*
helptag defined with no colon, what I get is the help for *:call*)
From "best" to "worst" match, I see
