The Unity window manager in Ubuntu 11.04 messes with this stuff, disabling the menu altogether, or shifting it Mac-like out of gvim's window to the top of the screen. There's environment variables one can set to get the menu back into gvim's window, perhaps there's a way to get the shortcut indications back. <plug>I suggest you give KDE a try.</plug> Regards, John -- You received this message from the "vim_use" maillist.
