I'm mildly annoyed that this thread has been hijacked without the subject field of the email changed to reflect the fact that we're now talking about nothing *relevant* to what the original poster (me) was asking about. Many denizens of mail lists take offence at such thing also. Now, I don't care one iota about what Cc means, etc., my original reason for requesting it was one of politeness on my part -- not because I'm not subscribed to this list (I *am*) but because it makes things casually easier for me to track when interested parties have replies to a thread.
