Tabs vs. spaces has nothing to do with what language you are editing. You set it up yourself, using the 'expandtab' option. In your case, you want to: :setlocal noexpandtab This will work best if your 'shiftwidth' option has the same value as your 'tabstop' option. You can set this up for just a given filetype in your .vimrc, like: autocmd FileType scheme setlocal noexpandtab shiftwidth=2 tabstop=2 or similar. -- You received this message from the "vim_use" maillist.
