I think as long as the variable exists when the viminfo file is written and the viminfo option contains the '!' flag and your vim is newer than 7.3.X where x introduced storing dicts and lists in the viminfo file ( I don't remember the exact version, it was introduced with one of the 7.3. patches). regards, Christian -- You received this message from the "vim_use" maillist.
