Hi,

I have the following mappings:

inoremap<M-S-7> _
inoremap<M-7> -

When I do<M-7> I get - (the dash char), what is what I expected
When I do<M-S-7> I get | (the pipe char)
I would except _ (the underscore char)

When I type :verbose map!<M-S-7>
Vim replies withL: I<S-.> *_-7>
     Last set in c:… myfile

Why do I still get the | (pipe char)?

I don't know why, but try<M-&> instead. It seems to work here.
